Glasgow City Council buys Caseworks
Following a successful scoping excercise earlier this month, Glasgow City Council have confirmed their decision to purchase Caseworks Plus. Glasgow will be used to pilot many of the new modules that have been recently introduced to the Caseworks Plus suite. The contract will allow HUBSolutions to have a long term partnership with the city.
HUBSolutions to attend MAY ACPO conference
For those who failed to notice the garishly unmissable banner advert on the HUBS home page this April, you need your eyes tested. HUBSolutions has announced that it will be attending this years Association of Chief Police Officers Conference 2005 at the Birmingham NEC. In recent years the need for local councils and police to deal with the more everyday ASB related crimes has come along a great deal. Five years ago if asked if we ever thought we'd attend such a conference and of course the answer would be no.
The demands of the police have changed. Having realised that the Police are not traditionally used to dealing with lower level street crime on such a serious footing what better opportunity for us to show off our range of Caseworks Modules and our new Community Policing Module.
Six become Seven - Police Module launched
The latest edition to the HUBSolutions range of ASB products designed to effectively target ASB and Hate crime is the Community Policing Module. The CP module is currently in its building stages and will be developed as part of our ongoing commitment to working directly with the Police. The module will be developed with Strathclyde Police and North Ayrshire Council, Glasgow City Council and South Lanarkshire Council. The module is specifically designed to capture data not already held in other caseworks modules used by different agencies.
Scoping excercise for Glasgow ASB strategy
HUBSolutions has been commissioned to undertake a scoping exercise for the newly created anti-social behaviour task, run jointly by Glasgow City Council and Strathclyde Police.
Peter Hall and Claire Davies from HUBSolutions interviewed all the organisations that hold data about anti-social behaviour in Glasgow. This included the CCTV control centre, community wardens and the access centre. The report was presented to Glasgow City council earlier this month. It has been well received and HUBSolutions is currently negotiating further work in connection with its recommendations. Since then as a part of those negotiations, HUBSolutions has continued to develop the intelligence modele (i+) and has introduced an integrated mapping facility.

North Ayrshire pilots VS
HUBSolutions has been working for Ayrshire Council with funding from the Scottish Executive, to develop a new Victim Support (VS) module into Caseworks PLUS.
The new VS module is being fully developed, funded, and piloted in Scotland as part of a new initiative. The system will enable workers to manage victim support casework - the allocation of equipment and the assessment of need and outcome - specifically requested by the Executive themselves. VS also incorporates all of the other PLUS features, like multi-agency working and unparalleled flexibility & security.
